Our History

The Mustang Club of San Diego is a non-profit car club that was founded in 1978 for owners and fans of America's premier "Pony" car. Current membership stands at over 380.  Our membership owns Mustangs that range from totally original 1964-1/2 models to the most current year version and the cars are pristine restorations, works in progress, daily drivers to mind blowing customs and race ready cars.  So, if you have an interest in the Mustang platform in all it's variations from stock base models to the most outrageously customized GT500 or Boss you are welcome here.

The Mustang Club of San Diego participates in many events throughout the year including car shows, local cruise nights and community related activities and charities. We are proud to play host to the largest "single make" car show in San Diego County. Usually held the first Sunday of October, our "Mustangs By the Bay" car show draws over 300 entries and thousands of fans annually.
