2024 Chula Vista Starlight Parade

On November 27, 2024 the Mustang Club of San Diego was contacted, by a company called SoundSkilz to inquire if we would be interested in driving two dignitaries in the 2024 Chula Vista Starlight parade. The contact information was provided to me and I contacted the person requesting the convertibles. She only needed one convertible for the parade, so Sheila and I drove the Grand Marshall and the Jr. Grand Marshall in the parade.

The Starlight parade took place on Saturday, December 14th. It is a night time parade, so we decorated our Mustang with colored lights. It was quite cold that night, so everyone was bundled up for the parade. But the cold whether did not stop the hundreds of spectators, waving lights, to come out to watch the parade.

After the parade was over, we worked our way through the blocked streets to return to San Diego for dinner.
