On Saturday, January 2, 2026 four convertibles from the Mustang Club of San Diego drove four VIPs in the “largest ballon parade” (said by the parade coordinator) in the United States. The drivers were; Tom Davis driving Port Commissioner Voorkkhara, Pete Bishop driving the National University Mascot, Navi, Steve Moxley driving Trust and Will rep and Sheldon and Sheila driving the Holiday Bowl President Dr.Nancy Rohland. It rained all night and early morning before the parade. But it stopped, and the sun came out before we grouped up for the parade. Before grouping up, I was able to see the helium truck supply helium to the people filling the giant ballons. It was very interesting.
