On Sunday, January 14, 2024, five members of the Mustang Club of San Diego drove the Black Global Pageant Girls in the 41st Martin Luther King (MLK) parade in San Diego.

The parade started out on Harbor Drive, across from the County Administration building. The Mustang club drivers were Andrew Minjares, Jo Bechtel, Pete Bishop, Theresa Esparza and Sheldon Jurist.

The whether report said that there was a 10% chance of rain, on Sunday. We were lucky, slight overcast,but no rain. There were 77 different groups participating in the MLK parade. After the parade, several of the drivers, with their significant other, went to STP for lunch.
