2024 Veterans Day Parade

On Monday, November 11, 2024 we had a herd, of Mustangs, from the Mustang Club of San Diego driving in the 2024 Veterans Day Parade. The video of the parade is available on YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/live/Lm8lohWDw1g. The VIP drivers are scattered throughout the parade. The Mustang club drivers are right after a motorcycle group at about 1:00 hour into the parade.

We had 10-Mustang convertibles driving VIPs in the parade. Notable VIP Richard Wehmeyer, a B-17 bomber pilot was among them. The VIP drivers were Sue Weinshanker, Michael Gillen, Tom Davis, Steve Moxley, Tim Johnson, Theresa Esparza, Pete Bishop, Andrew Minjares, Jeffrey Appel and Jim Ackley.

We also had six drivers representing the Mustang Club of San Diego in the parade. The drivers representing the Mustang club were; Leroy Banks, Michael (Mr. Bonkers) Bagnas, Ted Christian, Don Jorden, Walter “Woody” Woods and Sheldon Jurist.

After the parade some of the drivers went to Studio Diner and others went to Arby’s for lunch.
